The Mathematics Department conducted the Statistics Quiz Bee for Freshmen last September 18, 2021. This is an annual competition open to freshman students of Mapua University.  It is a  search for the best students who will represent Mapua University at Inter-University Statistics Competitions. 

There were 20 students who qualified through the Cardinal Edge Exam Elimination to the Final Round of the competition.  Ten questions were administered via Kahoot! App for each round.  The top 20 finalists narrowed down to top fifteen students during the first round and qualifed to the Semi-Final Round. The top 10 finalists proceeded to the Championship Round where the the top 5 winners of the competition were determined.

The Champion of the Quiz Bee is Ser Alec Miguel Medrano with 6540 points.  Finishing second is  Clyde Danielle Padernal with 5129 points while the third spot goes to Marc Zendrijk Pasumbal with 5033 points. Completing the list of winners were Kyara Riguerra and Alexandria Caalim were the 4^th and 5^th placers respectively.
