In Celebration of the Senior High School Week of Mapua University, the Department of Mathematics in coordination with the Math Club of Senior High School conducted the MU SHS: Statistics Quiz Bee last November 23, 2022. The MU SHS: Statistics Quiz Bee is an annual statistics competition aimed to discover the best and brightest students in the field of statistics and data analysis. This years edition recognizes 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 as this year's Champion, taking home Php 11 000. Coming in second is 𝐉𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐬 (First Runner Up), followed by 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐨 (Second Runner Up), 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚ñ𝐞𝐝𝐚 (Third Runner Up), and 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐧 (Fourth Runner Up).

The Elimination round was held on the 21st day of November 2022 and participated by 84 senior high school students. This is the first time the contest is held in face-to-face setup after the pandemic. The winners of the compettition were awarded Php 11 000 for the Champion, Php 5 000 for the First runner Up, Php 4000 for the Second Runner Up, Php 3000 for the Third Runner Up, Php 2000 for the Fourth Runner Up.
